JSG Co, Ltd, one of the dynamic, upcoming Systems Integration company and business partners of TATA in Thailand has recently completed a complex data-warehousing job at Conocco (Thailand) Ltd, one of the global petroleum giant, operating JET Gas stations in Thailand. ConocoPhillips is an international, integrated energy company. It is the third largest integrated energy company in the United States, based on market capitalization, oil and gas proved reserves and production; and the largest
refiner in the country. Worldwide it is the sixth largest publicly owned energy company, based on oil and gas reserves, and the fifth largest refiner.
JSG was instrumental in developing, upgrading their existing system ConocoPhilips (Thailand) Limited (formerly known as Conoco (Thailand) Ltd.) and also fine tuning their Data-Warehouse using OLAP tools.
Joining hands with TATA to execute this project, the JSG team was responsible for the analysis, design and implementation of the Operating Report and Data-Warehouse solution. JSG’s solution encompassed 100% dynamic Data Maintenance with operational reports to measure the success of business performance. Provisions were made for ad hoc querying and reporting. The system developed is Web-Ready as the reporting is done using XML.
The solution allows the client to constantly monitor its Retail Business and fully exploit the strategic and operational information gathered from its Financial and Accounting system. JSG would continue to extend long term systems support and training as required.
